Now you’re talkin’. This is what happens when you put your pants on and you keep your election promise. It will be reported in the annals of our history that significant change happened in 2009 and americans started to look after their own. This event will lead to other fantastic changes that will make us the envy of the world again.
Don’t get happy just yet.Me and my wife got a letter today ,that they would be cutting medicare.Didn’t say by how much, but if they keep on their won’t be much left.Already not going to get a cost of living raise for 2 years, going up on part B&D so it is not going to be much left.
Walter, unless you are on Medicare Advantage (which may actually be cut altogether as deemed to be only good for the ins co~no better for people on it though paying more) that is simply untrue. Would you mind saying who exactly sent you that letter because some groups are in big trouble for sending out inaccurate information that is dishonest to promote their own agendas?
We will have Public Option whether you put it in a bill or vote on it or not – who will pay for all the homeless, disabled, illegal, deadbeats? You Mr. Senator?
No We the Public will have no option but to pay just like we do now when they show up at emergency rooms.
These guys really don’t roll down the tinted windows on their limo’s or walk out of their Pickett fence yard huh!
@Walter, Sally is probably right. Check out the small print on what ever you are being sent – its gotta be propaganda ’cause #1 No decisions have been made on ANYTHING and #2 you would not recieve any information from the government until late November.
This public option has just got to become a reality. It will help end so many inequaties in our present system. We need this for balance, so insurance companies don’t hold all of the cards
Walter — that letter is fake and is from some party with an ulterior motive!
What I learned from the NY Times Pole. Yes, we want a public option. The problem in making it come to fruition is lack of information. Too much confusion. Too much disinformation. Democrats need to come to the forefront and explain it – again and again if necessary – until the disinformation provocateurs lose their campaign to defeat the public option. Debate on the issues needs to be clear. Democratic Leaders? Where is your voice?
