I’m appalled that this educated and accomplished woman feels it necessary to dumb herself down in order to pander to her dumb audience.

Wow. She does dumb really well. I’m mean she’s really good at it. Very convincing. Not only did she pretend to have to look up “ignoramus” – she nabbed the etimology and not the definition. That’s where she got the “idea” that it means “ignorant lawyer”. I checked. She doesn’t miss a trick.
I wonder who tells her to act like a dingbat? Does the director yell, “Okay cut! Gretchen. Baby. You’re letting the smart seep out again. Try to control it will ya?”
I guess it’s important for the Fox demographic to not be offended by a seemingly intelligent woman. Or person for that matter. That’s why Bill O’Reilly likes to bring Joan Walsh on from time to time and use her for a pinata.
