Obama convicted of FRAUD & TREASON!

Craziness at its best.  If you have not been following the birther nonsense, get ready to be shocked.  These people are SERIOUS!

The Washington Independent’s Dave Weigel — who, like a Jane Goodall of political madness, has logged many an hour studying the panicky paranoid fringe in its natural habitat — highlights the latest “birther” craze: the formation of “citizen grand juries” devoted to exposing the truth that Barack Obama is not an American citizen. In other words, having failed to get any actual legal bodies to take an interest in this nonsense, these people are just making up their own! And possibly meeting in tree forts or something! Who knows?

They will keep on convening pretend grand juries and handing down ersatz indictments until either someone finally starts paying attention or until … you know — Obama has them all disappeared or something.

Forget the birth certificate, these people claim that there is no record of Obama having served as an Illinois Senator!  If nothing else, birthers are great comic relief in trying times.

    He is nuts.

These fake grand juries use “evidence” supplied by Orly Taitz, Dentist/ex-Realtor/Lawyer (She went to an Internet Law School, really, she did). They soliticited their juries through the internet, a very impartial jury. LOL

The “Citizens Grand Juries” are being promoted by Old Carl There, based out of Georgia.

Buy Sam Sewell, who calls himself “Aristotle The Hun”. He’s based in Florida. Says he’s a minister. And a psychologist. Says licensed, but Florida doesn’t show his license in their database?

And Bob Campbell. a/k/a “Offshore Jobs Bob”, who seems to help spread the hate and provides sekrit grand jury meeting rooms on the intertubes. (You can’t make this stuff up.) He’s in Taiwan, where he sells saxaphones. Ships ‘em to the U.S.

And, these folks actually think this stuff is legal.

    LOL

  6. DanC says:

Anyone who does not think that these people are potentially dangerous, just aren’t seeing it right. If these people can actually believe what they’re saying, how much of a stretch is it to conceive one of them acting on their delusional made-up fantasies?

  15. mimi says:

    …maybe they’re not so bad…

  16. liberalsRs....d says:

You’re full of poopy and you know it. This has been the earmark of the whole Obama lunacy. Any criticism is immediately labeled racist or some other tag and then all you loonies jump on the wagon.

An example: Your totally ignorant comment earlier.

“I suspect that “ineligible to be POTUS” is code for “n***er””

  17. liberalsRs....d says:

No. I jut want you and the rest of the loonies to stay true to form. Confirms everything I’ve ever thought or believed about you people.

  18. mimi says:

I will always mock the birthers. And any wingnut conspiracist. If that is “true to form”, you bet.

Real issues, I will debate. Conspiracy talk, I will mock.

  19. liberalsRs....d says:

True to form for a coward. YOU get to decide what YOU feel is a real issue. Good one.

Hey!! I got one for you. You, your President and the rest of you loonies were quick to express your indignation and outrage about Tiller’s shooting.

Where’s your outrage about young American Soldiers being gunned down by some Muslim Nutcase on an American Street?

  20. liberalsRs....d says:

….and an argument could be made that even though he should not have been shot, he was a despicable man.

  21. mimi says:

wrong thread. I do not share your feeling about the doctor. but, wrong thread.

I am not a coward. I call their radio shows. I do comment on their blogs, though the comments do not pass moderation. I give them the truth. They say Pakistan was no travel zone, I give them link to state department site that says it’s not true. With evidence. Doesn’t make it past moderation.

    WHO IS THE COWARD!!!

We have exposed each and every lie. None of it gets past moderation.

    WO IS THE COWARD!!!

Meanwhile, the birther lawyers all have paypal buttons on their websites.

    Give generously, Libby.

  22. mimi says:

Does the Muslim nutcase represent the liberals? I didn’t think so. Meanwhile… here is something to ponder:

“In March 1993, three months into the administration of our first pro-choice president, Bill Clinton, abortion provider Dr. David Gunn was murdered in Pensacola, Florida. That was the beginning of what would become a five-fold increase in violence against abortion providers throughout the Clinton years.

Today’s assassination of Dr. George Tiller comes 5 months into the term of our second pro-choice president. For anyone who would like to believe that this is a statistical anomaly, a coincidence that doesn’t portend anything, again, you are wrong.

During the entire Bush administration, from 2000-2008 there were no murders.

During the Clinton era, between 1994-2000 there were 6 abortion providers and clinic staff murdered, and 17 attempted murders of abortion providers. There were 12 bombings or arsons during the Clinton years.

During the Bush administration, not only were there no murders, there were no attempted murders. There was one clinic bombing during the Bush years.”

    http://www.boomantribune.com/story/2009/6/1/11443/44139

And… the rightwing media continues to dial up the crazy.

  23. liberalsRs....d says:

I would say a person holds themselves out as the sole judge of what is a real issue, and any issue that doesn’t pass their arbitrary standards is just ridiculed and dismissed pretty much qualifies as a coward. At least in my book.

But I’m still not angry with you. I just think you are wrong on virtually every issue of substance, naive and kinda on the “tree huggin’ ” side of liberal left.

  24. mimi says:

All has been debunked. The birthers have shown that they don’t care. Comments that debunk do not make it past moderation. Can’t debate if they don’t allow it. Mocking is all that is left.

  25. mimi says:

Libby, are you aware that they were soliciting “jurors” from Hal Turner’s blog at the start of this “citizen’s grand jury” stuff? Because, I am. I saw it. I’ve been following them for a long time.

    They are hateful people.

They don’t want the truth. They want to change the election results. By any means possible.

How do you feel about that?

  26. DonLA says:

Believe what you want. I have no reason to lie. And I don’t. I have never visited that site and still haven’t. I may check it out later. But in general, I DO not visit any of these right wing sites unless I happen across one while looking for sources for information.

They don’t give an accurate impression of legitimate and reasonably intelligent people that don’t have their heads up Obama’s………pants leg.

If it makes you somehow feel superior or “righter” to look at videos of some whacked out woman in Tennessee somewhere and think ALL people who might disagree with you are the same, have at it.

Should make life a lot easier for you.

The only question is which wife-beater I should wear. The dirty (off-)white one stained with Budweiser or the filthy (formerly) grey one stained with ashes from that burning cross?

    Decisions, decisions.

And should I black out just one tooth, or black them all out and leave just one?

    Which would fit in better?

Ah guess ah better git mah accent own rite and start blendin in so ah kin fit in with them other idjits.

[Disclaimer: I'm from rural Alabama, living in Georgia. Half of the white population of my hometown probably believes this crap. <sigh>]

Okay. As I’ve said before, I do not subscribe to this issue. Furthermore, I PERSONALLY feel that even if it WERE proven he was not a “Natural Born U.S. Citizen”, I would be in favor of at least allowing him finish this term. (I’m not sure if the US can survive his term, but that’s another debate.) But that would probably not happen because he would be severely hamstrung and his ability to lead effectively would be pretty much destroyed.

But I fail to see what is to benefit from resisting these challenges as opposed to laying them to rest. You guys say they would just come up with something else. Well…..I would say that goes with the territory. Produce the vault version or whatever it is that is being questioned and close the matter.

I’m really not up to date on this because contrary to what people like you want to believe, I don’t subscribe to loony theories and conspiracy scenarios.

I’m more concerned with the economic disaster he is leading us into. Willingly for you guys, kicking and screaming for some of us.
