4th of July, Independence or Subjugation Day? Your Choice

guestauthor

.

White Supremacists, urged by the National Alliance, plan to attend various tea parties (anti-tax rallies) being held throughout the country today. Their main goal is to “educate, activate, and recruit.” folks into their White Revolution, towards racialism.

The National Alliance believes, in part

“We must have White schools, White residential neighborhoods and recreaton areas, White workplaces, White farms and countryside. We must have no non-Whtes in our living space and we must have open space around us for expansion.

We will do whatever is necessary to achieve this White living space and to keep it White. We will not be deterred by the difficulty or temporary unpleasantness involved, because we realize that it is absolutely necessary for our racial survival. The long-term demographic trend toward a darker world, which the disastrous policies of the last century have caused, must not only be halted; it must be reversed.”

They believe that multiculturalism is a sickness and want to build

“a society in which young men and women gather to revel with polkas or waltzes, reels or jigs, or any other White dances, but never to undulate or jerk to negroid jazz or rock rhythms. It means pop music without Barry Manilow and art galleries without Marc Chagall. It means films in which the appearance of any non-White face on the screen is a sure sign that what’s being shown is either archival newsreel footage or a historical drama about the bad, old days”

Today is the 4th of July, a day we celebrate freedom and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. A day where we celebrate the men who had the courage to fight for equality and set up this democracy. That there are those who want to use this Independence Day to recruit people into an overly controlled society with no rock rhythms leaves me chilled and bereft. It is ironic the National Alliance would choose a day celebrating freedom to advance their supressive agenda. Though they probably will not see this act as irony because I suspect they think ‘irony’ is a tiny piece of metal.

Even though their type of vitriol disheartens me I remember our wonderful artists, musicians, movies….. And in the immortal words of Ren ” Hey, hey! What’s this I see? I thought this was a party. LET’S DANCE!”

I agree. But a part of the freedom we celebrate is allowing the haters to have their say. Our hope lies in the fortitude and intelligence of most Americans to shun these lowlifes and live our lives in peace and harmony.

    Happy July 4th to all!

  2. LiberalsRs....d says:

With all the worthy causes being celebrated today, why focus on this?

Let me guess. Along with Janeane Garofalo and Paul Begala, you think everyone in the U.S. that doesn’t simply roll over and agree to massive government expenditures and tax increases are only upset because the President is black.

Seems to me you’re trying to establish “guilt by association” for anyone who opposes Obama’s inexorable Socialization of America.

  3. Norman says:

Guilt by association? Liberal, you are a f***ing nutcase. You have some serious issues. You might want to start by getting your paranoia straightened out.

  4. LiberalsRs....d says:

@norman….Yippee!! Another articulate, intellectually elite loony!! Did any of you guys get past middle school forensics classes?

Okay. Let me try to make it simple for you. Janine lumps “White Supremacists” into the crowd with “various tea parties (anti-tax rallies)” leaving the conclusion to be drawn or inferences made that they are one and the same.

Smart people like me may be able to figure out she doesn’t REALLY mean ALL “various tea parties (anti-tax rallies)” types are “White Supremacists”, but the less intellectually fortunate will associate the two because she put them together.

Did she mean to present it as such? I hope not. Would it have that intended effect on….let’s say….people like you? Of course it would.

Besides that, my main point was why focus on such insignificant stupidity as that when there are many worthy causes being celebrated today. Glad to see you got it.

Read closely. Try to comprehend. There may be a pop quiz later.

  5. Hellen says:

@Liberalsr – because Janine can choose to focus on that today – her right – her choice. Apparently, this is something you don’t get like a woman’s right to chose.

I agree with MaryJ in that part of the freedom we celebrate every 4th of July is allowing Haters to have their say, regardless of how off the wall and wrong they are.

I think Frederick Douglass pretty much said it best, that the “great problem that confronts the American people to-day is a national problem — whether this great nation of ours is great enough to live up to its own convictions, carry out its own declaration of independence, and execute the provisions of its own constitution.” I certainly think it is and we’re definitely on the right – or should I say the left – path towards that goal.

    Happy 4th!

  6. LiberalsRs....d says:

@Hellen…”because Janine can choose to focus on that today – her right – her choice. Apparently, this is something you don’t get like a woman’s right to chose.”

That is such a categorically, blatantly ignorant statement I won’t dignify it by even attempting a response.

Suffice it to say, I stated my point. Then I explained it in the most simple terms I am capable of. If you still don’t understand, I can only wish you the best with your confused life.

  7. Nancy says:

Great-well written-thank you for such an intelligent article-have a great 4th-hope we hear from you again.

  8. mimi says:

    Libby,
You are correct. With all to celebrate today, why concentrate on this?

I agree. Teabaggers do not. They spent the day sharing hate.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WD8MUcW5V1M

And, white supremacist groups are recruiting at tea parties.

Falcon2488 of Stormfront says (spelling and grammar as posted):

“Yeah, I just came back yesterday from a local NY State Tea Rally (March on Albany).

The atmosphere was very good for a variety of reasons, the people were clearly against both major parties, politicians and the whole system, the atmosphere was revolutionary. They are in a lot of ways very close to us. (not very keen on blacks in general either) But a strong wall of divide still remains.

We’re dealing with people who have strong convictions (ideas of their own – the self ritcheous sort) – I think if we approached them with anything remotely “racist” it would be a debacle.

The best we can do is move them toward us a hair at a time.

    There are other favorable news.

(I can’t give any more details here)

And of course TPAC got excellent support from ECWU.”

[ECWU = East Coast White Unity]

    ahhh…. The Patriots.

  9. LiberalsRs....d says:

@mimi…come on mimi. None of this has any credibility or meaning beyond there are still a few nutcases left in the country. Why associate them with Tax Protesters? (Wonder why CNN had to loop the same picture over and over and over.)

The association you people are trying to draw is that White Supremacists and Tax Protestors (or Tea Baggers as you and Piperni so lovingly like to refer to them) are all one and the same.

That’s just wrong and those who do that belittle themselves and are no better than the Savage’s, Limbaugh’s and Hannity’s you rail against.

Mimi, you vacillate around out there on the fringes of Conservative thinking and try to paint us all with the same brush. Not very becoming of you. And just not very bright.

It’s very clear to everyone, except maybe Norman, what this whole string has been about. You guys want to align extreme White Supremacists with legitimate protest and dissent over President Empty Suit’s policies. You people are getting scary.

  10. mimi says:

Ed and Elaine Brown are your heros, Libby? Bob Schultz? Interesting.

  11. mimi says:

Here’s a great idea. From the Canada Free Press.

“Effective July 5, We declare the start of “THE AMERICAN STRIKE” and INDEPENDENCE WEEK and launch our web site at xxxx We are requesting that all Americans stay home from work. Regardless of where you work or what you do. Stay home.”

Hahahahhahahahhaha! Yeah, wingnuts. Ya’ll stay home. Go Galt.

  12. Hellen says:

@Liberalsr: your response is predictable. It figures that’s the only comment you would reply to.

I don’t take anything you or any member from your right wing party say seriously – you don’t even have a party leader.

    —whatever you say Rush!

    Happy 4th!!!

  13. LiberalsRs....d says:

@hellen……uhhhhhhh..Okay Hellen. I guess when a person misspells their own name it should be a harbinger of what to expect from them.

Bottom line, this post, whether purposefully or accidentally, attempts to draw a comparison or relationship between White Supremacists and legitimate dissent and protest.

You figure out why. (After you figure out how to spell your name.) :-)

  14. mimi says:

    Libby,
The ADL has some posts from Stormfront. Most tea parties failed. But, no doubt they were out recruiting. A prepared flier was made as a suggestion by a member.

    http://www.adl.org/main_Extremism/White_Supremacists_July_4_Tea_Parties.htm

You might not see a connection, but it exists.

  15. LiberalsRs....d says:

@mimi….Only in the minds of Radical Liberal Wingnuts looking to discredit if not silence dissent any way they can.

I’m disappointed to find that you are among those ranks.
