Teabaggers Doing What They Do Best – Being Moronic

Politics of Stupidity http://mariopiperni.com/

.

Teabaggers gathered in Washington once more to chant their hate and to demonstrate how uninformed and ridiculous they are.

Thousands of opponents of the Democrats’ health care legislation are gathered outside the Capitol, for a noon news conference and rally led by Representative Michele Bachmann, Republican of Minnesota, and the chants are already underway, echoing across the Mall.

“Kill the bill!” they are shouting. “Kill the bill!”

A series of spot interviews suggests that the protesters have come to Washington from all across the county – Texas, Ohio, Oregon and the greater Washington area. It’s a generally older crowd, many in their 50s and 60s, predominantly, white, and many self-identified as Christians. They are fiercely conservative and deeply skeptical of the government, many of them deeply opposed to abortion rights.

“The government couldn’t even get the shots out,” said Karen Ambrose of Sunbury, Ohio, ridiculing the government’s efforts to vaccinate people for the H1N1 flu as an example of what government-run health care would look like. “Let’s just get the government out of all this.”

The crowd is waving signs, some predictable, others inventive. “No Socialistic Health Care.” “Sweeping Away Socialism One Democrat at a Time.” “Politicians Lie, Patients Die” “You lie!”
“All lies”

Of course the “anti-health care rally” had its share of birthers and non-health care related signs. Let’s hope they keep it up all the way into 2012. NY-23 showed us what a bunch of kooks can do for Democratic fortunes.

Yes indeed, NY23 showed us what kooks can do for the Dems and @Kenneth Tucker had a front row seat to the issues in NY23 and that race.

Keep it up birther/teabagger/hatemongers. Keep it up all the way until 2012 Pres election!

  2. Blue Heron says:

MSNBC is reporting 4,000… Fox says 10,000. Go figure.

    Fort Hood incident is AWFUL!!!

  3. Frances says:

Hey guy in the red shirt, Fox News told you Obama listens to Mao. See the difference?

  4. Preston says:

Judge Land and now judge Carter, smack down the crazies (case dismissed), poor little Birthers.

Not even “Fake News” Bill O’Reilly believes the crazies, how funny.

To all the birthers in La, La Land, it is on you to prove to all of us that your assertion is true (TOUGH WHEN YOU KEEP LOSING CASES), if there are people who were there and support your position then show us the video (everyone has a price), either put up or frankly shut-up.

In my opinion the Republican Party has been taken over the most extreme religious right (people who love to push their beliefs on others while trying to take away the rights of those they just hate) and that is who they need to extract from their party if they real want to win. Good Luck, because as they said in WACO, “We Ain’t Coming Out”.

I heard that she now wants to investigate the “Republican 2009 Summer of Love” list: Assemblyman, Michael D. Duvall (CA), Senator John Ensign (NV), Senator Paul Stanley (TN), Governor Mark Stanford (SC), Board of Ed Chair, and Kristin Maguire AKA Bridget Keeney (SC).

I wonder if she is a mail order bride, just like her law degree? She is perfect reporter material for “Fake News”, where unfounded rumors and innuendo reign supreme , unlike a our US courts of law, where you need to present documented facts, not half baked lies (prepare for more failures).

A lawyer, dentist, realtor and black belt, WOW I must say a JACK of all trades master of none.

  5. Tommy Pane says:

“…extreme religious right (people who love to push their beliefs on others while trying to take away the rights of those they just hate)…”

My wish is that both the right and the left stop doing this. And just in case you don’t know how progressives are just as guilty of this, one example is when I’m forced to pay higher taxes “to help those in need”, my right to manage my own property (money) is taken away and I’m hated (called greedy) when I protest. Actually, anytime progressives pass legislation forcing people to change their lifestyle, they’re just as bad as the religious right.

  6. Jovial says:

    Tommy,

“Government is the people’s business and every man, woman and child becomes a shareholder with the first penny of tax paid.” Ronald Reagan

“To attract good fortune, spend a new penny on an old friend, share an old pleasure with a new friend and lift up the heart of a true friend by writing his name on the wings of a dragon.” Proverbs

”Giving frees us from the familiar territory of our own needs by opening our mind to the unexplained worlds occupied by the needs of others.” Barbara Rush

It is simple; give back as much as you got in and health care is not even asking for that much. You are blessed Tommy and now is the time for other people in your position to invest in the health of your employees at the same time getting more competitive rates out there to fill up your coffers. Why is such an act of kindness so taxing on your soul?

  7. Tommy Pane says:

Jovial, why is granting people free will to make their own decisions, good or bad, so taxing on your soul?

  8. Blue Heron says:

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut he asked about his bill and the barber replied “I cannot accept money from you, I’m doing community service this week.” The florist was pleased and left the shop.
When the barber went to open his shop the next morning there was a thank you note and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later a cop comes in for a haircut and when he tries to pay his bill the barber again replies “I cannot accept money from you, I’m doing community service this week.” The cop was happy and left the shop.

Well the next morning when the barber opened the shop up there was a dozen donuts and a thank you card waiting at his door.

Then a congressman came in for a haircut and when he went to pay his bill the barber again replied, “I cannot accept money from you, I’m doing community service this week.” The congressman was happy and left the shop.

The next morning when the barber went to open up there were a dozen congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that my friends illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

  9. Tennessean says:

Heron….good one. Only they probably would have sent him a Tax Notice for the Income he SHOULD have realized had he not declined payment.

(Which by the way is exactly what they do in real life.)

  10. Blue Heron says:

Tenn – I knew we could agree on something :)

  11. Tennessean says:

Tommy, when the left does it, it’s “Whiskers”. When the right does it, it’s a “Beard”.

    Courtesy of George Carlin:

“Here’s my beard. Ain’t it weird? Don’t be sceered. It’s just a beard!

That’s the thing. The word ‘beard’ shook a lot of people up. BEARD! It’s not American sounding. BEARD! Lenin had a BEARD! Gabby Hayes had ‘whiskers’. Monty Woolley had whiskers.”

  12. MARYKAY says:

ITS FEAR MONGERING,IGNORANCE HATE RACISM,A BUNCH OF RICH PEOPLE WHO HAVE EVERYTHING IN LIFE THEY NEED,HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ITS LIKE NOT TO HAVE THINGS,OR GO WITHOUT IMPORTANT THINGS FOR THEIR FAMALIES, LOVE THEIR GUNS,SOME OF THEM WOULD LIKE TO KILL OUR PRESDENT AND THE DEMS OR SEE HARM COME TO THEM.WHAT KIND OF PERSON DOES THAT MAKE THEM ALL.WANTING HARM TO COME TO PEOPLE AND ONLY CARING ABOUTTHEIR OWN NEEDS.THEY TALK ABOUT THE CONSTITUTION&THEIR RIGHTS,WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF AMERICANS WHO HAVE A VOICE AND HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS,DONT WE AS AMERICANS HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOICE THAT WE WANT AND NEED THIS AND ITIS OUR RIGHT TO HAVE IT JUST LIKE THEM.WHERE DOES IT SAY ONLY THEIR VOICE COUNTS!?.IT GOES FOR ALL AMERICANS,UNDER THIS GREAT NATION,NOT JUST SOME!I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST RICH PEOPLE BUT WHY DO SOME OF THEM FEEL IF YOU DONT MAKE ASMUCH OR HAVE LESS YOU ARE A LESSER PERSON&BENEATH THEM.ITS NOT A GOVERNMENT TAKE OVER,IT WILL DO GOOD FOR ALOT OF PEOPLE.THE GOP WILL NOT DO MUCH FOR ANYONE AND COST MORE AND PRE EXSISTING CONDITIONS CAN STILL KEEP YOU FROM GETTING INSURANCE WITH THEIR PLAN.HOW CAN WE WHO NEED HEALTHCARE GET BEHIND AND SUPPORT THAT KIND OF PLAN?
