Trouble In River City

All is not well in TeaPartyLand.

In the latest sign of rancor in Tea Party circles, a convention billed as an effort to bring together conservative activists from across the country is being attacked by some leading Tea Partiers as inauthentic, too tied to the GOP, and — at $549 per head — too expensive for the working Americans the movement aspires to represent.

The National Tea Party Convention, scheduled for early February in Nashville, grabbed headlines after announcing that Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann would appear as speakers, Palin as the keynote. But the event’s organizers are a long way from unifying the notoriously fractious movement.

What can anyone expect from an organization of crazies, simpletons and frauds.  It’ll be interesting to see what impact these people have on the midterms as they continue forward with their efforts to rip the GOP apart and drive it further to the right.

Tea party philosophy is straight out of The Music Man…

And now Sarah Palin is going to be a contributor on Fox News! Just think of it!

  2. janine says:

She won’t speak at this CPAC conference because they won’t give her the $ she’s asking for (in the millions)

  3. Frances says:

The $549/head is probably to cover Palin’s speaking fee and then she will cancel at the last minute.
