New York’s attorney general sued Donald Trump for $40 million Saturday, saying the real estate mogul helped run a phony “Trump University” that promised to make students rich but instead steered them into expensive and mostly useless seminars, and even failed to deliver promised apprenticeships.
Trump shot back that the Democrat’s lawsuit is false and politically motivated.
Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says many of the 5,000 students who paid up to $35,000 thought they would at least meet Trump but instead all they got was their picture taken in front of a life-size picture of “The Apprentice” TV star.
“Trump University engaged in deception at every stage of consumers’ advancement through costly programs and caused real financial harm,” Schneiderman said. “Trump University, with Donald Trump’s knowledge and participation, relied on Trump’s name recognition and celebrity status to take advantage of consumers who believed in the Trump brand.”
Is there any difference between standing next to Donald Trump and standing next to a cutout of Donald Trump? Probably not. In both instances, you’d be standing next to a thin veneer lacking both soul and intellect.
Also, anyone willing to pay thousands to get to pose for a picture with Trump and/or to receive a diploma from Trump U. almost deserves to get shafted by a grifter with clown hair.

Well, Bill Maher has finally responded. It’s Maher at it’s best.
I’m guessing that Trump will double down and drag this thing out for as long as he can. Publicity is publicity no matter how ridiculous one looks…not that Trump comes close to understanding how idiotic he comes off appearing in this matter. Narcissistic Personality Disorder will do that to people.
Celebrity business magnate Donald Trump endorsed Mitt Romney for president Thursday, telling reporters he will not mount an independent campaign if Romney is the Republican nominee.
“It’s my honor, real honor, to endorse Mitt Romney,” Trump said, with Romney and his wife standing nearby. Calling Romney “tough” and “smart,” Trump said, “he’s not going to continue to allow bad things to happen to this country.”
“Bad things” will be outlawed under a Romney presidency – no doubt by an executive order signed on his first day in office right after he signs that executive order killing ObamaCares. Long live the king.
Now that he has the Trump endorsement, how long before Romney goes birther?
