Johnny Piper, the mayor of Clarksville, TN, recently forwarded an anti-Muslim email urging all “patriotic Americans” to protest a U.S. Postal Service stamp that commemorates an Islamic holiday. Piper’s email falsely claims that the creation of the Eid stamp was ordered by President Obama. In fact, the stamp was first issued in 2001, during the Bush administration. It was reissued in 2002, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

I’ll tell you what’s wrong with the folks in Tennessee…Piper’s statement is the result of being the offspring of either first cousins or visitors from ‘out there’. I want to check the back of his neck and I really want to see his birth certificate to prove he was born on earth.
I don’t know when but it is evident that the Republican are going to use the straw that broke the camels back and they will pay dearly. We are a nation of brothers from all walks of life and everyone is welcome here because in diversification we will find the ingenuity to maintain competitive to the world. We will reward a Muslim for invention and a Mormon for his creativity. There is no time for bigotry and the best of time for looking to a bright future.
