Tagg Romney is considering a run in the special Senate election now that Scott Brown has opted out, the Truth Squad has learned.
Calls for Romney, 42, to join in the short campaign to replace Secretary of State John F. Kerry have increased since the Herald first reported heavyweight Republicans are urging both Romney and his mother, Ann, to get in.
The eldest son of former governor and presidential candidate Mitt Romney already has statewide name recognition and could quickly ramp up the campaign infrastructure for a short, five-month race.
Did the Romneys not get the message the first time around or is the need for revenge for daddy’s loss so strong that Tagg Romney would actually consider a run? I hope so. Tagg has given every indication that he is as self-serving as his father ever was and nothing would please me more than having another heartless Romney soundly defeated.
UPDATE
ABC reports that Tagg won’t run. Let’s hope they’re wrong.
Imagine Mitt’s dad didn’t go anywhere so the son was going to show the world that he would revenge his dad by taking off his watch at every debate so he would remember his promise to dad. After millions of worthless dollars on a lying rampage, the american people did not believe the hypocracy of pinocchio.
I wonder what Tagg will take off to remind himself that he will revenge his Mitt daddy. His gloves ?
I have a feeling that the name Romney is not going to drop out of politics anytime soon. Right now it is not a very well liked name, being that Romney won the Republican nomination but lost the General Election. But the future can change all that. If Jeb Bush has a chance of running, after the debacle his brother left this country, then Tag Romney does too.
Latest news I hear from MSNBC is that Tag does not plan on running.
When I saw the name Tagg, I just thought it was one of Sarah Palin’s offspring… Track… Trig… Teflon (oh, wait, that was different gob:)
Oh the boy who would have punched the Prez – if it wasn’t for secret service…. he wants another ass whooping…
Another Republican with daddy issues. Go ahead, Tagg. Run and make your father proud.
His eyes look so vacant and hollow… like his substance.
Maybe in Utah but NEVER in Mass! LOL

Markey will take pleasure to boot Tagg’s bottom.
