Tough guy John McCain has begun his reelection campaign with all guns a blazin’.
“President Obama is leading an extreme, left wing crusade to bankrupt America. I stand in his way every day. If I get a bruise or two knocking some sense into heads in Washington, so be it. I’ll keep fighting for jobs and economic growth for Arizona as long as I’m in the Senate.”
The voice-over closes with…
John McCain is Arizona’s last line of defense.
Against what? This is the jerkoff who chose Sarah Palin as his running mate not because he loved America but because he thought his only chance to the White House was by way of a physically attractive woman with supposedly solid conservative core values who just happened to have the intellect of a soggy cabbage roll. Any man who would willingly place an inept, totally unqualified self-serving fraud like Palin a heartbeat away from the presidency deserves to have his ass kicked hard.
Hopefully we’ll all get the chance to see it happen this November.
The same Sarah Palin that also hurt his cause because of her ambitions.
It’s time for McCain to bail out because wisdom in politics has vanished from his screen. He made a monumental error in the choice of Palin and should do like Dodd and take care of his family in the years that are left. He has done a great service to this country in his army life and politics in Washington but to go on would be a disservice as he can still make gargantuan errors in the years to come.
In the past, McCain has been on the moderate side of the GOP. So was Pawlenty. They know what side their bread is buttered on now though – and they have to pass the Purity Test or face attacks from their own party on a national scale. It’s one thing to be attacked by someone in your party who is challenging you in a primary. It’s another thing altogether to find yourself attacked by the entire GOP.
I get the idea that Arizona is hopelessly reactionary. McCain will be a senator for Arizona as long as he draws breath – and possibly longer.
Anyone responsible for foisting Sarah Palin on the American public deserves eternity in hell.
Polling indicates McCain is in a tight race with a republican challenger. Ya never know!
The same Sarah Palin that also hurt his cause because of her ambitions.
