There’s nothing like taking the first swing when provoked. That said, I don’t believe Republicans would dare run on repealing health care reform despite their shouting to do so. How does one make the argument that going back to having insurance companies in control of health care is a good thing?
But then again, we’re talking about Republicans, a political party devoid of any real policy ideas so anything is possible.

This is bait. Dems are PRAYING that Tea Party types take the bait and overextend the Republicans. Not only would it lead to losses in winnable House districts for the GOP, but it would set the stage for something all progressives should be working for; reopening the law to add premium inflation caps, take away the individual mandate, and add an effective medicare premium buy-in option.
If we get lucky…the Cardin amendment to strip away the ten year patent monopolies on Big Pharma and open that category up to global competition will pass as well.
