ACORN Stole the Election For Democrats – Really!

Republican Elephant - Loser

Life in the bubble continues undeterred for Republicans. They’re refusing to accept the truth that they lost the election for the simple reason that a majority of Americans did not accept their vision for the country. Here are the bubble numbers from the latest PPP poll:

49% of GOP voters nationally say they think that ACORN stole the election for President Obama. We found that 52% of Republicans thought that ACORN stole the 2008 election for Obama, so this is a modest decline, but perhaps smaller than might have been expected given that ACORN doesn’t exist anymore.

Damn. Despite ACORN’s best efforts to keep their existence a secret, they’ve been found out by right-wing idiots sleuths who know in their little hearts that God’s Party could never lose an election to a group that promotes hedonism and attracts the slackers and scum of society unless there was thievery involved. </snark>

Categorize the above numbers with the ones that indicate that 30 percent of Republicans still believe President Obama to be a Muslim…or the polls that show that more than half of Republicans believe that Obama was born in a foreign country.

Pathetic, but only slightly less so than this next set of numbers.

Some GOP voters are so unhappy with the outcome that they no longer care to be a part of the United States. 25% of Republicans say they would like their state to secede from the union compared to 56% who want to stay and 19% who aren’t sure.

Is it any surprise that the same PPP poll indicates that fewer Americans now identify themselves as Republicans than Democrats by a 13 point margin: 32 percent of Americans call themselves Republican compared to the 45 percent who identify themselves as Democrats.

Maybe there is hope out there.

  1. Elephantass is totally appropriate. I am so fed up with these idiots who live on the fringes of sanity. If there was a way to have them secede, I would not be opposed.

  2. It goes even further. The way they are going on the fiscal cliff, they stupidly admit that they are the party for the rich who still hold us hostage on job creation. For sure they want reductions on entitlements because it does not affect the rich. For sure they want to limit tax deductions because it affects the middle-class mostly and not the rich. For sure they want the fiscal cliff to go forward because more taxes will be collected from the 98% than the 2%. For sure they don’t want to agree to extending tax cuts to families under 250M$ because it penailizes the rich. It is disgusting to see them operate in the House. The tea party has to go.

You would think they won the election and somebody forgot to tell them they lost. It is the will of the majority that governs and not the 47% that voted Republican. Boehner lies through his teeth and he will need to bend the knee because in 2014 he may face the worse decline of GOP in The House.

  3. Somebody wrote somewhere up on this page, “Maybe there is hope out there.”

    I agree with that!

My hope is that the Republican Party will someday enjoy the same status and prestige and power that the Whigs, The Loyalists and The Tories in America enjoy today.

My hope is that sometime, somewhere, somehow, someone who knows something about some things will find a way to bring to the public’s attention an idea that the Republicans’ obstructionism has become such a threat to national security that there might be grounds to start petitions to outlaw them entirely or to disenfranchise them as a legitimate political entity – – – for the good of the nation of course.

    All things are possible….

    Only believe!

  4. As far as those Republicans who want to secede; please do. We’ll even help them erect walls around them so that they feel safe from all the evils in the world. Just as long as they understand that they no longer will be getting any benefits from the government of the United States, since they no longer will be a part of it.

  5. Well ….what goes around comes around. Its just a matter of time untill the current GOP eats itself. I hope so. Mario, I enjoy your post daily, I enjoy the great comments from my fellow readers … and I always love the pictures. Stay strong. I support you and this website. Rich

  6. Hope? Not so much. When asked about specific legislation, there’s been no decrease in the number of people voting a straight GOP ticket, just some of them are ashamed enough of the Tea Bag antics that they no longer “self-identify” as Republicans. Well, come to think of it, that is a step in the right direction, if a small one…
