I’m Starting To Really Hate Sarah Palin

Her audience does not care for the truth. The truth would not set them free to threaten revolution. She is a classic demagogue playing on the ignorance and passions of her “followers.”

President Obama has the greatest respect for our men and women as he is the President that was not afraid of going to Dover Air force base and receive the casket of the fallen and acknowledge their contribution to the country. The dramatic image of a president on the tarmac was a portrait not witnessed in years. Obama did so with the weight of knowing he may soon send more troops off to war

Bush never wanted to do it as the body bags reminded him of the lies that got our soldiers there in the first place.Bush spent lots of time with grieving military families but never went to Dover to meet the remains coming off the cargo plane.

As usual,Palin doesn’t know what she is talking about.

Name me ONE politician that doesn’t trot out respect for Servicemen eveytime they want to score some easy points.

The balance of her statement in response to the question from Van Susteren: (paraphrased, “Do you want just words?)

“No, I want to see them equipped. I want to see them given everything that they need, including strategies, a surge strategy in Afghanistan, for one, so that they know that they’re there for victory, they’re not there just biding their time as lives are being lost.

I want our president and this administration to listen to the advisers who they hired, McChrystal, for one, back in March, telling the president, Here’s what we’re going to need there and then ramping up that advice lately, saying, Mr. President, here’s what we need in Afghanistan to win, to make sure that those terror cells don’t grow, so that those terrorists don’t come back over to the homeland in America, on our soil, and kill innocent Americans. I want him to listen to his advisers. That’s what he asked for.”

And she prefaced it with this statement which I know none of YOU would agree with but many people do:

“The worst thing — you know, I think that there’s been a lack of acknowledgment by our president in understanding what it is that the American military provides in terms of, obviously, the safety, the security of our country. There was the comment made the other night, you know, about, you know, the troops make for a good photo op, and, Hey, I’m giving you guys a raise, and that’s the applause line you need to…”

(I don’t know what comment she was referring to.)

I support a war tax on the wealthy of this country to pay for a war we can never win, the object of which is to apprehend a person who isn’t even in the country where we are fighting.

With every passing day, she gets stronger.

With every passing day, your messiah gets weaker. And why not? This is the Third Bush Term you voted for. Too bad you are waking up to that fact way too late.

Liberal Tolerance and Inclusiveness manifests itself

I think I’ve figured it out. Palin makes Liberals ashamed of themselves. Therefore, the virulent hatred.

Jovial says, “We defend the man but we don’t worship him.” And I would categorically disagree with that.

You apparently misunderstood my comment. I made no mention of “lessons” for you or anyone else. At least I don’t think I did and don’t see it on this post.

And I was speaking to the hatred you people seem to focus on Palin. And please don’t try to tell me you don’t.

While your at it, how did this person “insult” you? They simply stated their beliefs. You disagree. Where’s the insult?

And back to the “worship” thing, aren’t you the one that used to always end your comments with “Go Obama Go” or “Change you can believe in” or some trite sentiment similar to that?

Jovial, I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I’m not sure I care. I believe you misunderstood my comment. I wasn’t trying to give you any “lessons”. And I did not say your comments represented hatred, virulent or otherwise.

I’m just curious why Liberals hate Sarah Palin so much. I have quite genuinely given it considerable thought. I can’t discern a logical reason for it, other that possibly she makes liberals “ashamed” for some of their beliefs. For who they are.

Until someone can give me a more credible reason, I’m not sure I see a reason to think otherwise.

“Too bad you can’t recognize when someone offends you.” I assume you are talking about section 9 and your “perceived” insult. Again, are you insulted that someone simply thinks differently than you?

And what would YOU call signing off your comments with a candidate’s campaign motto? I would call it something closely resembling a form of “hero worship”.

Sometimes I think you have too much time on your hands and that although people try to explain things to you,you don’t care and you simply rant and repeat the same thing.

I have been insulted but you can’t understand because you are an agnostic.

You have a lot of motivational speakers that use human text to excite one’s curiosity and these are slogans and not hero worship.

I dislike Sarah Palin because for me hatred involves wanting ill of her and I don’t. I just dislike what she represents and just as false prophets have to be exposed so does hypocrites like Palin need to be exposed. She represents the worse of what America shares as values.

So there it is in a nutshell. Even a wingnut can understand this

Jovial, while you and Frances are spending so much effort commenting on things about me of which you have no knowledge, please allow me to point out I said nothing about your intelligence, insulting you, your hatred or anything else particularly about you.

Again, I simply do not understand the left’s virulent disdain and hatred of anything “Palin”. In my effort to try to understand those reactions, I can’t come up with any logical reason. So, I apply standards I apply to myself, conclusions I have reached in my own “pathetic” little deliberations, and I feel, as I stated, she makes Liberals just a little ashamed of themselves. I think she makes liberals and particularly liberals of the feminine persuasion question some of the liberal positions they hold.

Now, I’m not stating that as a fact, I’m just stating it as something I believe to some degree and have observed nothing to cause me to seriously question my beliefs.

As far as your “insult”, you would be correct on that one. I guess maybe you are saying the “messiah” comment insulted you because of your religion? (That’s the only thing I can see so if I’m wrong, I AM stupid and if you care to, I’d welcome your explanation.)

But if that is correct, don’t you think you’re wearing your religion on your sleeve a bit? And isn’t that one of the left’s biggest criticisms of the right? Religious considerations in their politics? It has nothing to do with my agnostic leanings. I just would not have considered what he said in that particular situation an affront to my religion. “Messiah” does have broader definition than a reference to Jesus.
