While you’re watching David Gregory this morning asking one of his sizzling, hard-hitting followup questions </sarcasm>, I’ll be landing my fifth bass of the morning. Either that or I’ll be biting into my third egg salad sandwich of the day wondering why everyone has caught fish but me.
Well, that’s the plan anyway. I’m off to do some fishing with my sons and brother on what appears to be a gorgeous Sunday. I’ll schedule a post or two if I have time and catch up with you on the flip side with (hopefully) a pic of one of the monsters I caught…and released.

My best bass fishing day was way back in 1967 when I caught two 6 & 1/2 pounders on the same morning. I was living in Selma, Alabama at the time and since I was a poor military man, both fish were dispatched, mercifully, for food.
I think I am going fishing to I-Hop for a huge stack of buckwheat and pecan pancakes!
