Mitt’s not only a sad excuse for a politician — he’s a sad excuse for a man. His latest amazing accusation against the President is that he is guilty of character assassination — after this season of GOP contenders that to me is truly laughable!
I am Mitt Romney and if I said it, then I Stand By It. Unless I’m against it now. On second thought, I’ll release a statement later. Wait, what was the question?
I don’t know, Mario, I think you’re letting Mittens off easy. This thing growing out of his nose looks like a twig. It should more resemble a giant redwood tree. Just sayin……..
I listened to Grover Norquist on Bill Maher last week going on about how Canada (you know, that socialist country) is doing so much better than us…of course, he failed to mention that Canada regulated their banks and, therefore, didn’t end up in the mess we did…and blaming Obama because we’re not doing as good.
Ryan comes on and tries to scare everyone into believing we’re going to end up like Greece when there is no comparison. We print our own money – Greece does not. Our unemployment is nowhere near where Greece is.
We waste precious time on politics and spend almost no time on solutions.
But I will say this — unless we can elect a working government, we ARE going to end up in disaster. The Tea Party has made it clear they have no intentions of working with anyone – it’s their way or the highway and Boehner apparently is set to send our credit rating into the toilet again. They’ve already turned their back on the agreement last year for raising revenue.
That will be what destroys us. Not our economic problems.
I very much agree, Diana — the obstructionist tactics from the right prevent real progress and could ultimately seal our doom. If only both sides could work together for the good of the union, and put petty political differences aside. Sigh.

Where is Jiminy Cricket when you need him?
Even better – Where is a Max Reede to Romney’s Fletcher?
Romney is the personification of Fox news. If he had to go a day without telling a lie, he’d have no reason to exist.

Love it esd2000! You nailed it!!
As my father used to say, he (Romney) “talks like a man with a paper a-hole.”
Thank you Karen. I don’t really think I exaggerated all that much.
Not one bit, esd2000 — he sways however the wind blows!
