But isn’t that exactly as it should be? On such a hugely important issue to the American People, shouldn’t there be a vibrant and exhaustive debate of all aspects of this albatross the Libs and Dems want to hang on America’s future??
of course there should be a debate. Debates are one thing, but that’s not what the Republicans want. I think the cartoon is spot on. The replubicans and conservatives will bring their pirate old west mob mentality to the floor in order to not debate. They only want to kill discussion not forward debate
janine, I see your psychological expertise is only exceeded by your Political Acumen.
I guess the opposite of what YOU say the Republicans want, is what the Dems and Libs want. Abject obedience and unquestioning allegiance to enslaving liberal policy and doctrine.
I’m not sure I’m willing to recognize you as the arbiter of what is legitimate debate.

And while you’re busy attempting to recycle silly accusations, allow me to make another point.
You misspelled “Republicans” in your earlier comment. Now, applying your “pie chart” logic, am I to believe you are lying and trying to mislead people that might read your comments? Did you purposefully misspell “Republicans” in hopes of misleading us into thinking there may be another Political Party out there? A party of “replubicans”?
Considering that the only debate the Republicans were prepared for was an exhaustive reading of the NYC phone book, this may or may not be interesting. My guess is that the debate will be mostly between the progressives and conservative Democrats. I would be happy to see Republicans shut out of the debate completely because I think that discourse with them is a waste of time at this point. In fact, why not just bring the Lewin Group in to replace the GOP senators? It would cut out the middle man.
I thought it would be worse. We can handle this, afterall, we dealth with 8 years of crazy.
