God Prayer Lightning Bolt http://mariopiperni.com/

.

The irony is mind-numbing.

The Family Research Council Action PAC just finished it’s spend 90-minute “prayercast,” an online event to pray for God’s intercession to get Senators to stop the health care bill, and it sure was interesting to watch.

…ask God to intercede so that the less fortunate continue to suffer so that health insurance CEOs can continue to make their millions while funding campaigns of politicians.  I wonder if God ever curses?

Should the prayers not be for the people that do not have coverage, should the prayers not be for the thousands who die each year because of either the lack of or inadequate health care.

I ask little of you except that you should also smite my opponents with chronic ailments that are not covered by their PPO’s.

In your name (though you have no name) we pray. Amen.”
