Honestly, do these conservatives think we do not have a brain, and that we can’t think and see for ourselves!! Why? why do they have to be so hateful? I am from Australia, and in my life time I have not seen anything like what is happening here in the US, such hatred towards fellow mankind.
If it wasn’t for being married to a loving American Citizen, I would go back to Australia right now.
What part of Australia are you from? I’ve spent time in Sydney and Melbourne and loved them both, the latter especially. A wonderfully ethnically diverse and vibrant city. As for Australians themselves, if there are a more down-to-earth people anywhere, I’m not aware.
If it wasn’t for Vegemite, Australia would be close to perfect.
I am from Adelaide in South Australia, the best wine making state in the country. We are very much down to earth and I often get my self into trouble over here because of it. Oh well. Gues what? My husband now loves Vegemite!! It’s a bit expensive here though, but it’s worth it to us :-)
Excuse me while I run to my window, a pig just flew by.

I have two words for Jonah Goldberg: Robert Spencer.
LOL at the vegemite Mario! I have a friend in Yaroomba who gets all kinds of grief from us about that.

If only conservatism was a myth (although considering mythical equivalent to “imaginary” or “nonexistent” is wrong).
@Frances and Christine: Here’s what I had to say about Vegemite a couple of months back.
Vegemite and Me
LOL…..you have to be an Australian to understand it.:-)
