You’ll have to take my word for it, but what leena’s fingers are feeling in that little mouth is her first tooth. It broke through last week which accounts for a new cry she developed which had mom and dad confused until they saw that bit of enamel shimmering on the lower part of her mouth.
Last week she sat up by herself for the first time. This week her first tooth makes an appearance. Don’t be surprised next week if I tell you she’s strumming Old MacDonald on the guitar. This kid’s not wasting any time growing up.

I remember when mothers rubbed Paregoric (camphorated tincture of opium) on a babes gums to alleviate the pain associated with teething. If I remember correctly it had a terrible taste and could easily lead to constipation. It is no longer an option since it has been available by prescription only for the last forth years or so. Leena remains as adorable as ever.
She really is just adorable. She would make a good politician Mario, she knows when to keep her mouth shut and not comment on the idiocies of the day. Happy Thanksgiving. Your cornucopia is truly overflowing this year!
