Romney was asked whether questions dealing with distribution of wealth and power were a matter of jealousy or fairness.
You know, I think it’s about envy. I think it’s about class warfare. When you have a president encouraging the idea of dividing America based on 99 percent versus one percent, and those people who have been most successful will be in the one percent, you have opened up a wave of approach in this country which is entirely inconsistent with the concept of one nation under God. The American people, I believe in the final analysis, will reject it.
And asked if there is any legitimate question one can ask concerning the discrepancy of wealth in America, SilverSpoon had this to say…
I think it’s fine to talk about those things in quiet rooms and discussions about tax policy and the like.
Of course. If there’s no real problem with wealth distribution, then there’s no point in discussing it out in the open, right? Better to relegate talk of that sort to the back rooms where important rich folk can discuss such matters in private. After all, no point in getting the masses riled up with nonsensical talk which does little more than confuse and anger them. Better to let the little people believe that any talk dealing with the increasing divide between the haves and have-nots is simply one of envy and class warfare.
Mitt Romney reminds me of a slick snake oil salesman with a lust for power. I never get the feeling that he is running for President to do what he can to help this country and the “little people”. I think its about his own quest for status and prestige. Any of the mingling and humbling himself with folks right now is merely to win their votes in the hope of achieving his goal for the benefit of Mitt Romney.
Mitt proved that he has no moral character when he ran and governed in Mass. as a “moderate”. Now he wants people to believe he has been completely converted, as if by magic, to a strict conservative. He is actually a pandering opportunist with an ego the size of his bank account, who will do and say anything to get elected. My guess is that those who are backing and promoting him know that he will do just as they ask, if he does get elected.
When he speaks off the cuff he tells us the truth, his truth at least, the way he actually views the world and it isn’t pretty. It isn’t even very intelligent, it’s ignorant in the same way that anyone who has no experience with a certain thing talks about that thing from speculation, it’s guess work and Romney’s guesses are completely lacking in any understanding. When he tries to say he understands the middle class and their problems he has no clue who the middle class is or how they live.
” you have opened up a wave of approach in this country which is entirely inconsistent with the concept of one nation under God.” What the heck does that mean to him… maybe give the rich a break God loves us? It isn’t becuase you are rich that you aren’t a good candidate Mitt, it is because you are arrogant and mostly clueless to what are the real needs of our nation.
Can we see Romney’s long form birth certificate please?
Can we see Romney’s long form TAX RETURN please?
