There appears to be a problem as to where to place convicted swindler, Bernie Madoff.
Sentenced to 150 years, Madoff will probably be sent to a medium- or high-security prison, probably in the northeastern U.S, according to lawyers and prison consultants. Even worse for Madoff, fellow inmates serving life sentences may want “to make a name for themselves” by harming the ex-money manager, a former inmate said. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, which will decide where he’s jailed, may isolate Madoff to protect him from other prisoners.
One word. Gitmo. Should work as long as Obama and his successors keep it open for the next 150 years.

This Madoff has impacted and messed up so so many people, corporations, nonprofit organizations, etc., etc. etc…. he and his wife will get what they deserve. Lets see if 150 years is appropriate…
They should add a few others to the group… Cheney, Bush… and a few other crooks that are still at large at the moment! Think we should get our money back and they should be paying until the day they die. I wish they would prosecute them all and yes Gitmo is a good choice, specially for Cheney and you can cadd Karl Rove to the group!
How about Madoff become the only prisoner up in that prison that hasn’t “officially” opened yet?!! We could lock him in there and then “conveniently” “forget” that he is there! Let’s see…the showers aren’t working…check. Diet will be sparse…check. Oops, they “forgot” to get some mattresses….check. Should be about what he deserves! Yes!!

Gitmo is a great idea for this sociopath.
In whatever institution he ends up being a guest, he should have to do the laundry of everyone he has so evilly swindled.

WELCOME BACK MARIO! I missed your posts!
Now that Madoff has been sentenced, how about taking care of the Wall Street swindlers and others in the financial sector who are still walking free.
I agree with Maria. Welcome back, Mario. Madoff? They should send him to a Mexican prison.
