I foolishly spent about 40 minutes today listening to Rush Limbaugh. He was in overdrive ranting about email-gate and how climate change is a hoax and polar bears are not in any danger. His claim is that the photos of polar bears on ice floes are staged. How does he know this? Well, because polar bears, he informs us, can swim 60 miles.
The sheer ignorance of this man is mind-blowing.
Every line was an Obama knock down and he’s not going around stating that Obama is making mistakes. Nope. According to Limbaugh, Obama wants to bankrupt the country for then it would be easier to impose his dreaded socialist agenda. It was 40 minutes of pure nonsense with no factual basis for any of his claims. A true waste of one’s time.
To think that this buffoon has 15 million listeners is disconcerting to say the least. Any country with at least 15 million idiots cannot be a good thing.
Here is more Limbaugh asininity. .

so the people that have made up global warming have trained a whole bunch of polar bears and then staged photos. Makes no sense whatsoever. His logic is flawed
And Obama is modeling his presidency after Chavez? oh my. I’d laugh myself silly if it wasn’t so concerning that people actually believe Limbaugh.
@TN: No matter how many people believe they are not mistakes, it lends no credence to Limbaugh’s argument if they have come to think so by listening to Limbaugh.
Frances….which pretty much kills all dissent because you guys don’t think any Conservative can reach an opinion that is not manipulated by Limbaugh, Fox or the typical host of Liberal’s Bogeymen.
These are words of an intellectual coward:
“It’s easier to be a lying manipulator and talk about complex issues in simpleton’s terms than to confront reality and deal with those issues in an intelligent and forthright manner. Namely, it is easier to be a conservative than it is to be a liberal.”
TN, then there are other media personalities saying the same thing? That Obama is intentionally trying to ruin the economy in order to force socialist policies upon us? Who are they? Why do they think this is so?
It is one thing to believe that Obama’s approach to the economy is erroneous. It’s another to believe that it is a conspiracy to establish a Socialist government.
I am starting to believe that TN vs. Frances is better than MMA! To paraphrase noted scientist Carl Sagan, “the only thing more dangerous to science than baseless popular pseudo-science, is the dispecable attempt by some in the scientific community to surpress dissent.” True science is always amenable to vigorous scrutiny, hypothsis’ that do not fit the facts are swiftly discarded. The emails should be thouroughly examined in full view of the public, as it is an opportunity for science to prevail. Having seen mountains of data over the last twenty years (generated by folks who don’t have a motive to lie), I am comfortable that I can remain concerned about the fact of global climate change. TN is absolutely correct in his basic criticism; we can’t be afraid to stand on our principles if we believe in them. For myself, I always have a pair of gloves with me, and am ready to step in the ring against anyone.
TN says: “Where did I state I felt Obama was engaged in ANY type of conspiracy?”
TN, LIMBAUGH stated it. YOU are not the subject of this article. Rush Limbaugh is.
Do you have an answer to my question? Where do people who believe that Pres. Obama is intentionally trying to ruin the country get the information to form such an opinion? I just wanted to know who else in the media was saying this about him. I know that Limbaugh said it, but who else? George Will? Peggy Noonan? Ann Coulter? See, I consider the source on these issues because it makes a difference.
There are people who study (or pay attention to) economics and government who disagree with Obama’s economic policies. I understand where they are coming from. There are people who have different politics who disagree on an ideological basis because they want a smaller government and less taxes. I understand where they are coming from too.
Rush Limbaugh is coming straight out of Wing Nuttia with his theories and stuffing his pockets all along the way. THAT’S where I have a problem.

Limbaugh said:
“There isn’t any data that supports Global warming!”
And then contradicted himself:
“Anybody that SUPPRESSED data that said there was man-made global warming was doing us a favor.”
From Keith Olbermann Countdown
Many feel the mistakes Obama has made with his economic policies are so egregious they don’t understand how they could simply “mistakes”.
Uh… TN… See previous blog entry.
