What do you expect, these are the same people who voted Bush twice. If you can do that then you’re capable of saying anything. Common sense is not these people’s strong suit.
I honestly don’t know whether to laugh at these fools or to be concerned. There’s a lot of deep seated hatred out there for the president that extends further than criticizing his policies. The noise appears to be getting louder and the shootings and killings we’ve witnessed in the last month are witness to this. It’s only getting to get worse.
When we broaden our perspectives and get education it is amazing how much hate disappears! Each of us can try to educate and broaden perspectives…it’s what in the sixties we of that generation used to call “raising consciousness”!! Maybe we need to bring back that ethic! Make love not war! Peace! He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother! We are Woman! Where did all that yearning for understanding and peace go to??? I think we should bring it back! We did make a difference! We ended a war! Don’t give up hope! We can start by having peace within us….I know that sounds trite and corny but it is so true! If each of us takes responsibility for what’s inside us and shares it with others….maybe …. just maybe we can shift the insights of others and make a larger difference! Why not try? What have you got to lose trying to be peaceful and help others feel peace? I say…feel it inside and then share! Go for it! Yes we can!
I agree Melody, but it is not about to happen as long as we have a republican party and a conservative media that cares more about getting back into power than the welfare of the nation. Spend 30 minutes listening to fox or to any of a number of right wing radio jocks to understand where these people are at. I listened to 20 minutes of michael savage this week (I had no choice. I was trapped in a car with a family member who loves the degenerate). In that 20 minutes he brought up every conservative meme you could imagine from Obama’s birth certificate to immigration to socialism to FEMA camps. They’re insane.
Ziegler was a big promoter of this whole Letterman thing. They actually were successful in getting the Olive Garden to cancel their advertising on Dave’s show. eh. And, from what I’ve seen, counter-protest to Olive Garden commences.
Sarah has too many spats. And, they always make her look petty.
“close the borders…”
Stupidity of that magnitude is frightening.
Stupid yes but the humor is priceless!

You are absolutely right Norman, laugh or be concerned, that too is my dilemma, especially with the rising violence right here at home.
