Phil Wolf, owner of Wolf Automotive used car dealership, stands in front of a billboard on his auto lot on November 21, 2009 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Wolf paid $2,500 to have the billboard painted, and it has sparked controversy since it was put up the day before. Wolf, 57, said the dealership received more than a thousand calls from throughout the U.S. and Canada in a single day, both in support and against the sign. ‘We’ve had death threats. We had people call and say they were going to firebomb the place last night,’ he said, adding that local police provided overnight security outside the dealership because of the threats. Wolf, a supporter of the ‘birther’ movement, questions President Obama’s citizenship. ‘We’ve got to recall our country, the election,’ he said. This guy (Obama), is illegal.’ He also blamed the President for the massacre at Ft. Hood. ‘The cavalier attitude taken by Mr. Obama towards the enemy within us is absolutely horrible. If I had a snake in the house, I would kill it,’ Wolf said. Several left-leaning advocacy groups have called on the public to boycott the auto dealership. By John Moore/Getty Images.

This is nickel and diming ! This is a cheap shot ! Is it really another point of view or is it that he refuses to believe the truth ?
Wingnuts on the rampage with nothing positive or with substance to offer. Remember the movie 12 Angry Men. The 11 were inevitably wrong. The proof of the Obama birthright is out there and birthers have been proven wrong. Why persist ? What is the other element that continues to gnaw at us ? Maybe it is race
Facts are stubborn things. I also don’t get the conflation of “birth certificate” and “jihad.” What does one have to do with the other? I guess I’m making the mistake of trying to apply logic to something that contains none.
Matt, I don’t like this reasoning but here is the connection to people like this auto dealer. Obama not born here=Obama born in Indonesia=Obama is Muslim=Muslim is radical jihadist=Obama is enemy of America.
They are just deluded. Facts are: Obama born in Hawaii=Obama raised by Christian parent=Obama is Christian=Obama is both American and reigious=Obama qualified to be President!
No one wants to remember that Obama didn’t even meet his father till he was 10. They don’t want to know that he attended a Catholic run school in Indonesia. They don’t want to remember he was also raised by two grandparents from the heartland of Kansas. They don’t want to know that he earned his law degree from one of the best American universities on the planet. They don’t want to admit that he worked with some of the poorest people in the heartland in Chicago and made a great difference in their lives. I know. I worked with CCH who told me of many instances of Obama working with them to help the homeless and the poor.
These right wing-nuts are just totally deluded. Obama is more than qualified and prepared and intelligent enough to be President.
Tenn. why don’t you just take a nice long vacation and go talk to Al Gore. He lives pretty near you! You might learn some very intelligent things from one of the smartest people on the planet.
From Anomaly to @ya’ll: Did anyone see this birther with a billboard on the Ed Show tonight? He’s loopy. The scary part is, there are quite a few birthers out there, just as loopy as this guy.
A perfect example of how the right hate this President because of his race
Also a perfect example of how some on the right are tee-total crazy.
What amazes me is that a businessman would offend potential customers in such a way. I suppose he will blame a drop in sales on Obama too.
What an idiot. We have all the evidence anyone needs to prove the President’s citizenship, but that’s not good enough for this pinhead.
janine, Race? I’m not saying in this case, maybe. But how are you drawing that conclusion?

@tennessean
well if I have to explain it to you….. just look at the charactatures and the sentiment
I thought you were basing it on the caricatures. In that case, I guess most of these people would be racists also??

“Janine says: …just look at the caricatures [sic] and the sentiment”
TN, the AND in her comment is important. Your response to it is telling.
TN, I should add, it is not telling about your thoughts on race, but it speaks of the reason for your misunderstanding of Janine’s point.

You just keep proving this saying so true for you!
