You all know those wonderful tea party patriots, the ones with signs proclaiming a deep love of country and an equally deep hatred for the President. Well here’s a clip of a group from Americans For Prosperity, one of the key organizers for those tea party fun-fests, reacting after hearing that Chicago lost their bid to host the 2016 Olympic games. .
.
Those are “Americans” cheering that America lost. Need you know more about the true intent of these people?

Maybe they just don’t like Chicago. I’ve been there and it is not a very nice place. Dirty. Crowded. Many areas ran down. Crime ridden. And I’m not even going to begin to speculate on how they get the river so green!
Seriously, I wish the “U.S.” had gotten the Olympics. The nature of Chicago Politics and the oddity of the President making a personal pitch would cause me to question exactly what forces compelled him to take such an unusual action. I would like to think and I DO hope it was nothing more than his pride in his adopted hometown and a wish to bring this event there.
People shouldn’t be surprised. The World Community relishes the opportunity to slap the U.S. around whenever they get the chance. I just wonder why our “Intelligence” wasn’t thorough enough to be able to advise the President this was a loser and he could have avoided the whole scenario.
Tennessean, some patriot you are…, to paraphrase “I really wish the U.S had gotten the Olympics, except for the cities I do not like”.
Seriously, have you ever been to Atlanta? The place is a bigger dump than Chicago and they had the Olympics there… they even cleaned out all the poor dirty black people before the games started, which would suit people like you. I was there.
President Obama decided to do what he could to bring the games to the US. But you have a problem with that. Some patriot you are…
They were cheering because they knew Chicago couldn’t afford it. It would have been a net loss scenario for the city and the state. They were happy to be saving the money.
Obama knows that we have lost grace in the world and it is by action that we will win their favor. This is a first attempt at being in the world’s face. It may have been a loser for some but for many like me,we are on the right track to recovery with the world. We need to be out there promoting this country and not only here to deal with our woes.
Obama get’s a big vote from me on this one. It is a start to great things. Republicans can’t even fathomed the depth of their ignorance on foreign policy.

Don’t be ridiculous Tommy. You know why they were cheering.
It must be almost naptime anteater.
Yeah, right, Tommy… these people are cheering against the US. But you can pick whatever reason you like to support hating your own country.
The world will only see the perception – American’s against America and not the minutia of reasons ya’ll give for cheering the defeat.
No politician can talk about Obama trash mouthing the US after this display.
