A shout-out to my buddy Pete Moss who has taken an insane giant leap and joined the ranks of liberal bloggers.
I’m quite aware how difficult it is to get heard when you’re competing in a blogosphere with a 100,000 other voices all clambering to get heard at the same time. It’s easy to get discouraged and drowned out in the noise. So why do it? I imagine every one has their own reasons for taking the time and effort to create a physical blog, put their thoughts into words and then do the marketing required to give their work a fighting chance to be heard. Here’s Pete’s reason.
Since I have seen the light, and converted (Reformed?) from the right to left in 2008 I have wanted to start a blog and get the message out. I wanted to help our society by repeating the truth, and exposing the lies.
Nice. When you get a chance, go take a look at Truth Bias. I think you’ll like what you read.
And, Pete…welcome to the hallowed niche of political blogging. Best of success to you.
In one stretch, he seems to have had trouble with the apostrophe’s: “I won’t even go into the obvious moral case for preventing unwanted birth’s and other uses for contraceptives. This all stands on it’s own merit, and would be the subject of another whole article.” Two out of three are in error. Very few plural’s take apostrophe’s. It may seem petty to some, but its one of my pet peeve’s, a holdover from my teaching day’s.
Pete – wonderful news. I’ve already tweeted your article to @JoeNBC because he apparently doesn’t understand the issues. You explain them very well.
Congrats! Keep at it. I feel your pain re time. Since returning to work, I’m toast by the time dinner is over. Some changes coming that may change all that soon (I hope).
I don’t see a place to sign up for new posts…am I missing it?
Pete Moss thanks for joining those who care enough to do the work to get the word out to those who don’t have the time or energy to read every bill or to sort through all the misinformation. I look forward to reading a lot more on your site. If we could sign up for new post alerts that would be a great help.
And no, your not missing the subscribe link. It looks like I have missed it… I need to fix that.
I have another problem, this server is having some trouble getting email out in the first place. So I need to fix that too. I’ll let you know when I get it working.
Mario, Thank you so much for your kind words and wishes. I could never have done this without your inspiration.
I can’t explain how overwhelmed I feel about the whole thing. There are so many things, so much to write, so little time…
Thanks again!

Thank you @E.A. Blair. I stand corrected.
