Well, this is nice. Here’s the follow up to the piece Mother Jones ran yesterday on Glenn Beck.
On Wednesday, Mother Jones‘ Stephanie Mencimer reported that Glenn Beck’s tale of holding George Washington’s first inaugural address, which he recounted at his “Restoring Honor” rally, is—get this—not true. We accompanied the story with a great photoillustration by blogger Mario Piperni. (Piperni gave us permission.) The image, as you can see here, combines Beck and Washington into one character. We love it. But as you can see below, we’re not the only ones:
.
.
Conspicously, Beck didn’t address his George Washington fib. Nor did he give Piperni credit for the image. But we wanted to make sure you had the full story. Anyway: glad you like the image, Glenn!
Cool. I wonder if Glenn would like this one too?
.
.
Or this one?

Boy this is what gets us out of bed in the morning, isn’t it? You just never know what is going to happen next. I too admire your art work, but I never thought that I would ever have to agree publicly with Glen Beck about anything.
Congrats on both the use of your art work in Mother Jones and making Glen Beck admire your work on his radio show.
Has he responded to the Mother Jones article as yet? I doubt that he will. Palin, Beck, Jan Brewer and a host of other lying GOP bottom feeders don’t care if they lie. Their “base” don’t care if they lie. Facts never gets in the way for star struck, low-information followers of these people.
Lord Karl of Rove said it and they are following his lead: “Republicans create their OWN reality.” How brilliantly does he know his audience. They never ask for the truth. “Just tell us what we want to hear, Glenn!”
This is wonderful! I hope Beck gets to see all the rest of your artwork of him.
LOL… I do love your art, Mario. Congrats on the recognition for your work. I hope ole’ Becker head see’s them all. =)

Absolutely brilliant Mario! I think I will email the others to Becker!!! (-:
