I do agree with everything Jovial says here but I also think the Republicans master plan is to thwart Obama at every turn, continue their lies, misinformation, hate campaigns so they can come into the upcoming election cycles saying he's failed to change Washington politics but they certainly will. Then they will make a show of 'bipartisanship' but only for the cameras all the while continuing as they had for the last 8 years and before that. All that will accomplish is driving this country into a gross rich/poor divide and economic collapse which will demoralize the populace. I am of two minds on this. The people have seen him at it for one year but he must be true to his values that he was going to change Washington. He can't do it on his own and it is only by continually offering an open policy with both Democrats and Republicans that he will do what it takes to fulfill the promise. The saving grace is persistence and perseverance. If he keeps at it this year and the people see that the other side is not cooperating,what a beautiful tactic to oust them out in November. The worst thing for a politician is not to complete a promise and this promise of bipartisanship is his ace in the hole because somewhere in there,Republicans will see for themselves that their obstructionism is doomed to be a failure and Obama will be white as snow.
