Bill Clinton states the obvious on Meet The Press.
Hillary Rodham Clinton, then the first lady, used the term “vast right-wing conspiracy” to describe how her husband’s political enemies were out to destroy his presidency.
Bill Clinton was asked on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday whether the conspiracy is still there. He replied: “You bet. Sure it is. It’s not as strong as it was, because America has changed demographically. But it’s as virulent as it was.” Clinton said this time the focus is on Obama, and “their agenda seems to be wanting him to fail.”
Somehow, I think we already had that figured out.

One thing I’ve always been able to appreciate is a good ad…like this one. .
.
I’ve never been big on television and the older I get, the less I watch. I enjoy HBO but tend to watch the good shows (e.g. Dexter, Curb Your Enthusiasm) at seasons end when I could download the entire series and watch it at my leisure late at night. I’ve usually got CNN or MSNBC blaring in the background but less so of late.
My favorite channels would rank as follows:
1. Food Network
2. Discovery
3. Civilization
4. National Geographic
5. PBS
And if I’m ever flipping channels and there’s a Seinfeld episode playing, I take great delight in watching it for the 178th time.

An over-exuberant school teacher in New Jersey had her class of 8 year old students sing songs of praise for President Obama. All of this happened last February during Black History Month.
Here’s the tape. .
.
As is typical with anything concerning the president these days, the conservative media went nuts when the above tape came out last week. They claimed the school was trying to indoctrinate the children. The school was temporarily in lock down when the principle began receiving death threats. Sigh.
My belief is that the teacher was wrong in having her students praise anyone, president or otherwise. It is not a teacher’s duty to impart her political beliefs on a bunch of 8 year olds. As for the overreaction from the right, it’s just typical of their hypocrisy.
I give you this. .
